Racing tires

Racing tires are not always DOT (Department of Transportation) approved, meaning that they can't be used in daily driving, but they do offer drivers excellent traction and performance at higher speeds. Racing tires can either be available with a tread or without one (known as a slick) and should not be used at or stored in below freezing temperatures.
